Day 1: Cape Town
Arrive at Cape Town airport, receive your rental car and drive to your hotel. The country hotel is located on a historic vineyard in the beautiful Constantia Valley.
Day 2: Cape Town
Venture first to the Steenberg Golf Club in South Africa. The afternoon is free to relax or go shopping in the city center. Don't forget to take a detour to the Green Market, arguably Cape Town's most famous market, surrounded by old buildings, cafes and hotels.
Day 3: Cape Town
Experience some highlights of Cape Town and the surrounding area today. Drive through the exclusive suburbs of Seapoint, Clifton and Camps Bay and the fishing village of Hout Bay. If the sea is calm, you can take a boat to Duiker Island to see seals and cormorants. Afterwards drive to Cape Point Nature Reserve where you will have a breathtaking view of the Atlantic Ocean. After a fortifying lunch, visit a Jackass penguin colony in the fishing village of Simonstown on the way back. Enjoy the view of the sea during the drive to Cape Town.
Day 4: Cape Town
In the morning you play a round of golf at the Royal Cape Golf Club. The program in the afternoon is up to you. Visit the University of Capetown, or UCT for short. These old British-style buildings, overgrown with ivy, make for a grand sight.
Day 5: Cape Town – Stellenbosch
You leave Cape Town and travel to Stellenbosch. Stellenbosch is a university town in South Africa's Western Cape and is surrounded by the mountainous Jonkershoek and Simonsberg nature reserves. The Mediterranean climate here makes the area ideal for wine growing. After a walk through the historic town with a visit to the Village Museum, the Drop Street and a wine tasting in a winery, we go golfing at the De Zalze Golf Course.
Day 6: Stellenbosch – George
Traveling along the coast to Hermanus, world famous for whale watching. Continue along the Garden Route to Mossel Bay for a sightseeing tour and finally reach George, where your accommodation, the Fancourt Estate, is located. This is South Africa's first golf and leisure resort. Located at the foot of the majestic Outeniqua Mountains, it features three 18-hole golf courses (Montagu, Outeniqua and The Links).
Day 7: George
At the hotel's Montagu Golf Course, you have all day to improve your golf skills.
Day 8: George – Oudtshoorn – George
A full day excursion today takes you to Oudtshoorn in the "Ostrich Capital of the World". In addition to visiting an ostrich farm, you will enjoy a visit to the Cango Caves. These are among the largest and most extensive stalactite cave systems in the world, an underground wonderland of mystical limestone formations in various natural colors.
Day 9: George
In the morning you play on the hotel's own Outeniqua Golf Course. Afterwards you will have the afternoon at leisure. Relax again in the beautiful spa area of the resort or explore the surroundings.
